Hearts Sack Graham Rix
Was he ever really in charge?

It didn't take long for problems to hit Graham Rix's return to top-flight football, and nobody was surprised to hear that, in January this year, chairman Roman Romanov chose most of the new signings and indeed, a month later, picked the team for their match against Dundee United.

So just two months later, Hearts released a statement confirming that Rix was indeed releaved of his post as Head Coach, as has Jim Duffy in his role as Director of Football.

Chairman Roman Romanov said, "We have been disappointed with the team's performance. Results were not what they should have been.

"We also felt that some of the signings made in January were not appropriate for Hearts.

"In addition, the events which occurred in February when Hearts played Dundee United, including the way in which some information appeared in the public domain, were disappointing to us.

"I'd like to thank Graham Rix for all his hard work at Hearts. He gave 100% but ultimately it did not work out. Vladimir Romanov and the club's management felt that something had to be done quickly. We owed it to the fans."

Hearts are currently second in the Scottish Premier League and are unbeatten in the last four matches.

Comments : So what is really going on at Heart's? Two managers in a season, and still second! perhaps Roman has earn't the job full time,,, do you need the coaching badges in scotland or can anybody hae a go?
