CITY U-21s 1 - 2 CWMBRAN U-21s: Our youngsters under Steve Evans fell to a late comeback to the junior Crows in the first ever all-Wales U-21 club final. Craig Tipton put us in front in the 57th minute and we also had a first half effort disallowed, before Cwmbran struck twice in the last 15 minutes. Despite this disappointment, it has been a great season for the youngsters - surely at least some of them will be challenging for first-team places next season. (21 May 2006)

LINNECAR ON THE MARK: Congratulations to City striker Mike Linnecar (writes Ian Thomas), who scored all five goals for Bangor University against Holyhead Hotspur Reserves in the Semi Final of the Eryri Shield. Fans of Mike can see him in action in the final to be played against Llangefni Reserves on May 20th at The Traeth, Porthmadog. Kick off 2pm. (21 May 2006)

NEW WEBSITE FOR CITY FANS: Keen City fan Ian Thomas has just launches a new multimedia website for City fans at www.cityblues.co.uk. In addition to news, views and comment the site features some great galleries - not only of City players and action, but also of fundraising events organised by our hardworking Supporters' Association. The number of City websites around speaks volumes for the fame of the club - and the enthusiasm of its fans!

AWARD FOR CITY FANS' SITE: Speaking of websites, the outstandingly popular Citizens Choice www.citizens-choice.co.uk City fans' site has just been chosen Unofficial Website of the Year by Welsh Football magazine.

Congratulations to webmaster Mike Smith - and contributors to the ever-lively Citizens Choice guestbook who are never short of an opinion where Bangor City is concerned!
