New Season
Here it comes

Well Folks the new season is upon us.
The Premier clubs have spent lots of money hoping for success.
Here at the "grass roots level" we have carried on our pre-season training "wheeling and dealing" without the money to prove that you get the best football at Junior Level. Kids committed to playing for the shirt rather than the money( which of course there is none of). Kids paying for the privellage to play for the colours (Registration Fees etc).
Well for one I am looking forward to the coming season and hoping that more people will get out and support the grass roots of football.
Here in Whaley Bridge High Peak we do not get enough support on a Sunday morning, so if anyone is reading this and wants to watch great football (AT NO COST) then please get in touch with me and I will give you details of all our matches.

This is my first season as manager of the Whaley Bridge Under 12's. It has been a great experience and is most fulfilling to get out on a Sunday and watch some great football. I am an avid supporter of football but feel that money is killing the game with to many would be superstars earning far to much and then complainig of being tired. It is refreshing to go to the local park and watch kids give there all for there team.
