Premiership sponsorship deal renewed
Barclays is the bank that likes to say yes!
Barclays has renewed its sponsorship deal with the English Premiership League in a deal worth over £65 million. The new deal sees an extension to their current deal lasting until 2010.
Barclays has sponsored the EPL since 2004.
"We all know about the fantastic appeal of the Barclays Premiership in the UK but this sponsorship also fits our international presence and aspirations particularly in Asia and continental Europe," said Barclays President Bob Diamond.
Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore said: Barclays' commitment to the Premier League has been unstinting and this latest deal will make Barclays Group our longest serving title sponsor."
