Attendence 30 with 10 from Redhill. The Reds welcomed back Geoff Clark in midfield. From the start Wick tore into Redhill who found it hard to settle and after only 10 ten minutes Geoff Clark was forced to clear the ball from the goal line for the Reds. With 14 minutes gone Wick got the ball in the net but the linesmen waved his flag for shirt pulling and the goal was disallowed.Wick continued to have chance after chance but keeper Dan Kelton was in sparkling form. With 15 minutes of the half gone Wick broke down the right beat Jamie Sinclair and with only Keeper Dan Kelton to beat blasted his shot high into the trees. The Reds had to replace and resufle the team after 17 minutes when Michael Allen was injured in a nasty tackle and young Mark Townsend replaced him at the back. As the half wore on Jamie Sinclair was forced to clear the ball of the line and Dan Kelton again pulled off another great save. With 17 minutes left the Reds had their first attack of the first half which, saw a great ball from Danny Clayton find Solman Torson whose powerful shot beat Wick keeper Tom Rand only for it to thunder into the upright. With ten left the Reds got a free kick just outside the box and Mike Morgan's cross found Geoff Clark's head but his header went just wide.Again Wick had a long range shot well saved by Dan Kelton in the Reds goal.In the second half the Reds started to play the football and Danny Clayton was the first to test the Wick keeper with a long range shot.Ten minutes into the half and Wick hit the upright.
Minutes later the Reds replaced Geoff Clark with Ben Biggar. In the 63rd minute a good ball back from Stuart Channon on thefar by line found Jaime Dean who's powerful shot from the edge of the box was help into the net by Ben Biggar to put the Reds one nil up with a great goal. With 15 left a good cross from Ben Biggar saw Solman Torson powrful shot go just wide of the post after beating the keeper. With 12 left a good cross from Mike Morgan saw Solaman Torson shot well saved by Wick keeper Tom Rand. With four minutes left Mike Morgan broke down the right beat two defenders and had a good shot go just wide of the upright. In the last few minutes Ben Biggar has a good pass collected by Danny Clayton who's shot was well saved by the Wick keeper. This was a hard fought win and shows the difference in the side now we weathered the first half when Wick should have scored and came back and scored ourselves keeping a clean sheet away from home for the first time this season.
