Thomas Wilson 5 - 2 Durham Ranger
The Thomas Wilson run continues..

The Wilson completed a league double over The Ranger, beating them for
the second successive week. Despite making a host of chances in the
first half, it was the Ranger who scored first with a scrappy goal.
Skipper Steve Coates equalized however, which allowed The Wilson to go
in at half time level.

A blast from manager Keith Minikin resulted in a much better second
half, and David Dixon scored a spectacular over head kick to restore the
lead. Brett Hogan then got on the scoresheet twice, and Dixon added the
fifth, with the Ranger getting a late consolation.

With title rivals Wessington and Duke of Albany only managing to draw
their games, it was a good week for the Gateshead boys.

Team - Derek "Safe Hands" Hanvey (Fat Stef Lewandowski), Sean Ward,
Robbie "Snork" Innes, Rob Boyle, Keith Minikin Jnr, Geordie Jackson
(Andy McSloy), Jamie Kirk, Steve Coates, Stu Bertie (Pat Burns), David
"Trendy Dave" Dixon, Brett Hogan
