Colchester 1-0 Scunthorpe
Colchester move ahead of Southend to top League One thanks to Chris Iwelumo's goal.
Scunthorpe had dominated the first half but it was Colchester who went in ahead against the run of play, after Iwelumo rose to head home Greg Halford's long throw.
The Iron also had the best of the second half, with Cleveland Taylor running riot on the right flank.
He peppered crosses into the U's box and it took some stout defending from the home side to maintain their lead but they held firm.
With a game in hand and a six point gap forming to third placed Swansea, it could just be Colchesters year.

I was at the match. Although Scunthorpe were hard to break down, they caused Colchester few problems. The right winger was a "handfull" but his crossing was poorand the home defence coped well. The "Iron" defended in depth and were rather physical at times and the Colchester players seemed to get a bit frustrated but the goal proved decisive.

Yep sounds about right, they may heve been frustrated, but they now seem to have the resiliance to grind out results like this, when in the past it might have ended in a draw.
