Bay Horse 2 - 4 Thomas Wilson
The Thomas Wilson club kept up there chase for promotion with a 4 – 2


win at local rivals Bay Horse. The Wilson had a chance to take an early lead when Steve Coates was fouled in the box, but the normally deadly Bazz Hindmarch saw his spot kick clip the crossbar.

The Horse then took the lead when a long free kick by the keeper beat everyone allowing a free run on goal which was finished at the second attempt. Hindmarch then made amends for his penalty miss by setting up the opening goal.

Coates was again involved, flicking on Minikin's freekick to Hindmarch, who squared the ball across the six yard box for Woody Rumney to finish from close range. Pat burns then made it 2-1 before half time when his deep cross from the left wing drifted over the Horse keeper and in.

The pitch was now becoming very heavy and the quality of football was deteriorating. The Wilson struggled to make their superiority count until Jamie Kirk's long pass was brought down by Hindmarch who went round the keeper, before Brett Hogan nicked the ball off his toes to score the third.

Sub Andy McSloy then threaded a through-ball to Rumney who made no mistake with the finish.

Hanvey was replaced in the Wilson goal by Fat Stef Lewandowski, who's only job was to pick the ball out of the net as The Bay Horse got a late consolation.
