STUART CHANNON
Attendence 120

The Reds played high flying Crowborough Athletic and totally dominated the game from start to finish. They welcomed back Mountain, Jones, West and Burns. Three minutes into the game and keeper Dan Kelton made a good save tipping the ball over the bar. With 10 gone great ball from Morgan found Roye who’ hot was well saved by Kusha in the Crowborough goal. With 32 left a great move by Mountain saw the keeper saves low to his right. At the other end Kelton again saves well tipping the ball over the bar. With three minutes of the first half left a cross from Roye found Burns who’s shot went just over the cross bar. With seven minutes gone a great cross from Morgan is missed by Jones, Burns and Isolm all in the penalty area. With thirty left Dean Roye broke and shot but the keeper was lucky to get his hand to the ball. Next Mountain put Roye in and with only the keeper left he shot just over the bar. A minute later Burns found Roye whose shot again went just wide of the upright after beating Kasha. With 12 left Burns knocks a ball to Burns who found Mountain whose hot hit the side netting. A minute into injury time and Robbie Burns was brought down in the box but the very poor referee rated the worse in the League failed to give it. This made the final score nil nil although we deserved the victory if only we could score. It was a good all round team battling performance.
