Wardley Legion 0-2 Wessington

Stevie Willey was crowned 2nd Division champion last Sunday after an unconvincing display by his impossibly high standards. A full season of carrying (I wish they would make boots in pink) Flop looks to have finally took its toll.
Granddad smurf marshalled the revolutionary new (3 sweepers n nobody has to mark) system adopted by the Wessington defence with ease, with the only flaw the inability to get Phil (I left my shooting boots at home) Storey to pick up the spare man.
Josh (I only play well when my Dads here) Brown laboured upfront wasting several clear cut chances created by the lively Andy Watson.
Stevie the man Willey did manage to direct a towering header into the top corner (his 1000000 th of the season) to earn another man of the match award. Where would the Wessington be without this magnificent false tanned marvel.
When Peter (get me a Zimmer) Hollis couldn’t lift the trophy at the end of the match there was Mr. dependable again to save the day, surely an SOS call from Sven cant be that far away, who else is there to fill the boy wonders boots.
