Wilson Slip Up
Hanvey's Howler Hands Away points

One of the pre-season favourites, Thomas Wilson continued their stuttering start to the season with a hard-fought point against new boys Pelton Fell. After good early possession The Wilson should have taken the lead when Dixon's cross was met by debutant Kyall Cash, but he couldn't direct his header. Cash had a better oppotunity minutes later latching onto a loose ball but only managing to screw his shot wide. The best chance of the half then fell to Andy "Beefdip Kid" McSloy who broke clean through but fired straight at the visiting keeper.
The second half continued much as the first, but after 15 minutes Pelton took the lead against the run of play. A weak shot from outside the box seemd no danger, but Lurpak Hanvey somehow allowed the ball to squirm under his body and over the mine.
With a quarter of an hour left Trendy Dave Dixon equalised,heading Scots corner into the net, but despite heavy pressure a winner couldn't be found. A second Wilson goal looked on in stoppage time but sub Jamie Kirk's thumping header crashed onto the crossbar and away to safety. Thomas Wilson 1 - 1 Pelton Fell.
