SNORKYS BAD DAY
Losing Return For Innes As Rumney Hits Hat-Trick

THOMASA WILSON 5 - THE GLOUCESTER

The Wilson finally hit form this season, with a convincing 5-0 win against The Gloucester. Within 4 minutes the home side were ahead as Burns' cross was adjudged to have been handled in the box, and Woody Rumney dispatched the penalty. Within minutes Rumney had doubled the lead with a quick finish from 10 yards.
Ex- Wilson defender Snorky Innes made his first return to the club, but like a big conked King Canute he could not stop the waves of Wilson attacks, and Brett Hogan made it 3-0 with a left-foted strike from a narrow angle.
In the second half it was much the same, with Rumney completing his hat-trick with a powerful run and cross shot. Man of the Match Bowman was replaced by upcoming starlet Danny "Sandine" Zadeh, and Kirk and Petrie replaced Coates and Hogan before Scott's corner was met by Trendy Dave Dixon and his header deflected into the net to complete the scoring.
