Leeds 3-2 Birmingham
Terrible Tebily costs the blues dear again and again and again.

Leeds caretaker boss John Carver got off to a winning start with a thrilling victory over high-flying Birmingham.

Gary McSheffrey had already hit the bar for Birmingham before David Healy volleyed Leeds ahead on six minutes.

The Blues levelled on 13 minutes as Martin Taylor's shot rebounded in off Leeds stopper Tony Warner, but Healy soon restored the lead with a penalty.

Blues' Damien Johnson was sent off but Nicklas Bendtner equalised, only for Olivier Tebily to score an own goal.
