Whaley Bridge Under 13's
On the verge of the title

This is not a report but a not to say that this team are on the verge of the title.
I have not sent in a report for quite some time but felt that I should let everyone know how things are going.
We have had a tremendous season and can wrap it all up with a win on Sunday which would give us the title.
We have scored goals for fun this year and have scored more goals than anyone else in any division or league in the Stockport Metro League set-up.
If anyone teams would like a game (as our season finishes on Sunday) please contact me either through this column or at [email protected].
We are willing to travel to games.

This is now my third season as manager of the Whaley Bridge Under 14's. It has been a great experience and is most fulfilling to get out on a Sunday and watch some great football. I am an avid supporter of football but feel that money is killing the game with to many would be superstars earning far to much and then complainig of being tired. It is refreshing to go to the local park and watch kids give there all for there team.
