Rumour has it that Hoddle has been talking to the board.

Can't imagine the Toon fans being too happy about that.

Lets face it Newcastle fans really deserve someone good... Hoddle doesn't seem to fit the bill ......

maybe they should get a care taker in for 12 months so that Shearer can qualify........ how about terry venables or big ron??

Apparently Newcastle issued a statement saying that Hoddle was not coming to Newcastle after it was mistakenly reported by some website - wasn't this one was it?

Yeah, it's not true. Martin O' Neill still remains favourite, although he's also favourite for the England job.

O'Neill is still the fav, but according to some papers he's ruled himself out of the Newcastle running to hold out for England.

Like the picture here of him in his Forest days. Nice hair

i hope Ruid Gullit comes back for some sexy football but its moree likely that Following his recent resignation from Corrie, former knicker factory boss Mike Baldwin has been spotted on a Spanish golf course with Newcastle chairman Freddie Sheppard, rumoured to be discussing the vacant manager's position at the club.

While Baldwin does not have the experience other managers do, it is believed Freddie was so impressed with his dealings at Underworld, including bringing in the likes of Hayley Cropper and Janice Battersby, he has now made Baldwin one of the front runners for the job
